Today I'm sharing with you my best secret, my new favorite Broccoli Burger. It's a high-quality homemade burger made of green veggies, which is tender, juicy, and full of natural flavor. You don't need a bunch of mix-ins, just the basic ingredient always available in your kitchen pantry, no matter which cooking method you prefer, just add a punch of my humble opinion.

Yield – 2 servings
Timing – 20 minutes
Prep time – 20 minutes
Total- 40 min
Ingredients:
Broccoli- 1 pc., boiled, grated
Dry peas- 100gm, boiled
Walnuts- 30gm, crushed
Onion- ½ medium, finely chopped
Garlic- 1 clove, finely chopped
Salt and Pepper to taste
Oil
Flour & breadcrumbs as required for making patties.
To Serve-
2 hamburger buns
Grilled vegetables, such as zucchini, onion
Lettuce
Cheddar/ Gouda Cheese
Ketchup, Mayonnaise
Method-
Soak the green peas overnight, then bring it to boil.
Steam the broccoli then cool it. Meanwhile, crush the nuts in a blender and chop the onion and garlic cloves finely. Blend the cooled broccoli. Blend into a granular form.
In a heated pan, pour a little oil. Add blended broccoli, cooked peas and nuts and season with salt and pepper, mix well. Shape it into a flat patty using flour and breadcrumbs. Refrigerate for at least half an hour, then form 2 burgers.
Brush them with oil and fry or grill them. Serve in a preheated hamburger bun with your favorite toppings such as grilled zucchini and cheese. Delicious!
Note- Fresh green peas can be used instead of dry peas. The prepared mixture dough can be stored in freezer for 2 weeks, but before frying it must first be thawed, then cut and fried.
Storage- The patties can be stored in the refrigerator for a long time. Just cut the size you want and fry shallowly.
