Chai is not just a drink. It is a feeling- if people crave to drink something nice, they need the chai. If people feel tired, they need it. If feeling sad, happy, or sitting without doing anything, again they desperately need it. However, Indian needs chai in changing of weather like- in raining season, they love badly.

Timing – 5 min
Prep time – 2 min
Total - 7 min
Ingredients:
Water – 1 cup
Milk – 1 cup
Black Tea leaves- 3 tsp
Sugar – 2 tsp
Ginger – 1 inch (grated/crushed)
Method:
Take a saucepan, pour water and milk in it. Place on gas flame in a medium heat and let the mix liquid boil. Once the milk starts boiling, add 3 tsp tea leaves, 2 tsp of sugar, then some grated ½ inch ginger. Bring it to boil for 3-4 min. After turning golden color – Tea is ready, turn off the gas flame. Strain the tea in cups with the help of strainer. Now, Tea is ready to serve!

Note: You must measure equal proportion of milk and water. If the milk quality is low, not having enough fats then you’ll measure 2:1 (milk: water).
