JUST BROCCOLI

Broccoli is a green veggie. This recipe is stirred fry dish. Just Broccoli is aromatic in flavor. I know, broccoli has a pungent taste but if you cook in this way then, definitely you’ll love it. This recipe is a kind of masala broccoli. Easy to cook. Indian spices make this recipe delicious. It can be combined with roti or served at lunch or dinner.


It has several benefits. Including it in your diet is a healthy option. Broccoli is a good source of fiber and protein, and it contains iron, potassium, calcium, selenium, and magnesium, as well as vitamins A, C, E, K, and a wide variety of B vitamins, including folic acid.

Yield – 2 servings

Timing – 10 minutes

Prep time – 10 minutes

Total- 20 min



Ingredients:

Broccoli- 250 gm, florets

Oil- 5 tbsp

Green chili- 2 nos. chopped

Ginger- 1 tbsp

Onion- 1 medium, chopped

Tomato- 1 large, paste

Turmeric powder- ½ tsp

Red chili powder- ½ tsp

Coriander powder- ½ tsp

Garam masala- 1/3 tsp



Method-

Heat the pan, add oil. Add green chili, garlic & onion, sauté it for 3-4 minutes. Further, add tomato puree, sauté it for a minute.


Add powdered spices- turmeric, red chili and coriander powder. Sauté it until oil separated. Then, add broccoli, mix well. Cover with lid for a few minutes.


Sauté it until broccoli softens. Finally, add garam masala, quickly mix it for a minute. Serve it with roti, rice, or bread.


Note- Don’t overcook the broccoli. Spices can be adjusted as per your taste. Instead of red chili powder you can use paprika chili. 

Storage- Green veggies can be spoiled easily, so consume it quickly. Or keep it in a refrigerator for a maximum of 1 day more.
