Lassi is simply a yogurt smoothie, but it'll always be called Lassi. It is a great refresher & all-time favorite summer drink, which can be easily flavored.
Lassis are a refreshing Indian drink made with yogurt. Lassi is a popular drink in India, especially the northern part. Simple Plain lassi is made with yogurt and sugar with crushed ice and a dash flavor of rose water.

Here I’m going to prepare Mango lassi, which is same popular as Plain lassi in summertime.
Now, there’s various kinds of mango pulp available in Indian grocery store. There’s Alphonso mangoes and Kesar mangoes, just a different variety of fruits. Here, I prefer Alphonso mango. It is rich in flavor, nicely balanced so, I highly recommend it.
Let's jump to the recipe!
Yield – 1 serving
Timing – 7 min
Prep time – 3 min
Total - 10 min
Ingredients:
Mango Pulp/ Fresh Mango – 4-6 tbsp/ 1/2 cup.
Plain Yogurt- 1 cup
Water – ½ cup
Sugar – 3 tsp
Flavor Water – 1 tsp (optional)
For Garnishing:
Fresh cream – 1 tbsp
Pistachio – A pinch, chopped
Method:
In a blending jar combine mango pulp, yogurt, water, sugar, and a dash of flavor water. Let it blend for 30 seconds until it gets nice and frothy. The taste of sweetness depends upon your taste, here I’m adding 3 tsp of sugar and adding some water is also variable depending on what consistency you like. Then blend it nicely. Pour it over ice cubes so it's nice and cold. Now, garnish it with a pinch of pistachio and fresh cream. There your mango lassi is ready to serve. Yummy! :)
Store- Best if it enjoyed immediately
