You don't need any special utensils and ingredients to cook up a bowl of stunning, simple, separated, and fluffy rice. Nicely cooked rice could switch a humble lunch of vegetables into a grand feast. It is an edible starchy cereal grain. It is full of carbohydrates. There are lot of varieties of rice in grocery shops but usually I'm using Basmati rice which is aromatic, and its texture is long. It is easy to prepare.

Basmati rice is my favorite and if you cook it then you know it and love it.

Yield – 2 servings
Timing - 20 min
Prep time – 3-4 min
Total - 24 min
Ingredients:
Basmati Rice- 1 cup
A pinch of salt
Water- 3 cups
Method:
Measure the rice and put it in a bowl, rinse it nicely to about 2-3 times. Place other pans on a flame and pour water in it. After boiling add washed rice with some salt and stir it once. Cover it with a lid. Check if bubbles start forming then remove the lid and stir it again. Check the rice with your finger once again. If the rice cooks properly, then turn off the flame and strain it. No, it's ready to eat.
Separate the cooked rice with a spatula and serve it! The best way to eaten with dal or curry.
Storage clue: Refrigerate leftovers in a container/ airtight for up to 3 days.
*NOTE- To cook the rice in a better form and in a short period of time, then you need to soak the rice in fresh water for at least 30 minutes.
