This simple quick veggie paneer is a super soft, tender fried paneer cubes cooked in a tangy onion-tomato sauce with diced capsicum & onion and Indian spices. You can also find all these spices in your local Polish supermarket. This curry can be cooked in 30 minutes.
As it is a breeze to make this flavorsome recipe. I used to prepare it when I had a surprise guest at home because it is full of spices, easy to cook, and when time is really tight, it's a hearty, spicy, delicious curry to impress our guest.

Yield – 4 servings
Timing – 15 minutes
Prep time – 25 minutes
Total- 40 min
Ingredients:
Oil- 4 tbsp
Paneer- 100 gm, fried
Cumin- ½ tsp
Ginger & Garlic- 1 tbsp
Onion- 1 medium, finely chopped
Green chili- 2 pcs, finely chopped
Tomato- 1 medium, sliced
Salt to taste
Red chili powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
Black pepper powder- ½ tsp
Meat masala- ½ tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Fresh cream- ½ cup
Kasuri fenugreek leaves- 1 tbsp
Onion- 1 small, diced
Green bell pepper- ½ pcs, diced
Water as required or 1 cup
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Garam masala- 1/3 tsp
Method-
1st step
Heat the pan with enough oil. Then, add paneer and fry lightly. Keep aside on a kitchen towel.
2nd step
Then heat another pan, add oil to it. Add cumin, let it splutter. Now add ginger & garlic, chopped onion, green chili, mix it.
Add sliced tomatoes, sauté until tomatoes get pulpy. Now, add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, meat masala and coriander powder. Sauté it well. Add the kasuri fenugreek leaves. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Further, add fresh cream, sauté again until the cream begins to ooze oils. Then add the diced onion and green bell peppers. Sauté for 5-6 minutes longer. Add approximately 1 cup of water. Let it boil. Add fried paneer and mix well. Now add garam masala, mix well. Dry off excess water while cooking.
Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve it with puri/ roti, rice/ pulao.
Note- Paneer can be cooked without fried. If you've missed a few spices, it's perfectly fine. Paneer itself is full of flavor. It can also be cooked in limited spices.
Storage- Store in a refrigerator for 3-4 days. Before serving heat up nicely.
